About the team

An exciting opportunity has become available for a P&C Manager for our Edinburgh Parks DC. Reporting to the Head of P&C – Operations, in this role you will partner with the DC – Manager and leadership team to develop & execute their People Plan and other activity aligned to the Operations strategy. 
Working openly and inclusively with others, you will support our leadership teams by applying your passion for people, P&C best practice and understanding of manufacturing and supply chain pressures.

About the role

Having a strong commercial and business acumen, the P&C Manager 
is responsible for:

  • Partnering with the Head of P&C Operations and DC leadership team 
  • Providing technical and specialist best practice HR advice
  • Managing the succession and development planning processes to support the talent pipeline
  • Monitor key people metrics and deploy strategies to ensure metrics remain on target
  • Subject Matter Expert for change and undertake transformation activities across WA, SA & NT in supermarkets and DC’s
  • Identifying opportunities to support the business to sustainably improve engagement
  • Coaching Operations Leadership team in best practice people leadership
  • Driving a performance and learning culture; and,
  • Executing the Corporate P&C Strategy and engagement of key stakeholders

About you and your skills

  • Tertiary qualified or demonstrated strong performance in a senior HR/ P&C role
  • Significant P&C generalist experience within Logistics, Supply chain or heavy similar industry is highly desirable
  • Strong stakeholder skills with the ability to partner and influence at all levels
  • Business consulting/partnering
  • Cultural and business change and transformation experience (accreditation valuable but not a requirement)
