About the role:

We are looking for an experienced People & Culture Advisor to join our People & Culture team on a 12-month fixed term contract.  Reporting to the People & Culture Strategic Business Partner, this role will support the Technology and Finance pillars, and its primary responsibilities are to work closely with the business to understand their needs and to drive Culture, Capability & Talent uplift.  This will be achieved by applying a commercial lens when focussing on employee relations, talent management, engagement and leadership development.

Duties:  

  • Advise, coach and support managers to assist them to deliver on their leadership accountabilities
  • Provide support in performance management, communications, reward & recognition, record keeping, diversity, employee relations, resource planning & organisation, and change management
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new P&C policies, practices and programs to meet organisational and line management needs
  • Deliver accurate, timely and responsive employee reports to the P&C function
  • Liaise with P&C team members and line managers to undertake or assist with specific initiatives, projects and assignments

Skills and experience: 

  • Demonstrated practical experience in a generalist HR admin or advisory role
  • Experience supporting Corporate and technology teams will be highly regarded
  • Well-seasoned professional who handles most day-to-day problems independently
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and proven experience in engagement, talent management and employment relations
  • Proven ability to develop strong, productive partnerships and engage key stakeholders
