About the role:

Reporting to the General Manager, Learning & Development, thehe Learning and Development Manager will  manage the evaluation of new and existing learning and development programs against risk, compliance obligations, and current and future business requirements to ensure all learning and development programs enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance. Your focus will be on creating a culture of continuous learning and development to ensure our workforce has the skills required to support our ambitious transformation program. This role best suits a Learning and Development Business Partner or Senior Learning and Development Advisor looking to take the next step in their career.

In this role, you’ll be:

Partnering with department leaders, HR professionals, and external training providers to coordinate learning initiatives, leverage resources effectively and foster strong relationships

  • Managing the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the organisation Capability Development Framework as a means of identifying current and future skills development priorities
  • Ensuring all learning and development activities are planned, designed, delivered and reviewed in line with the Learning & Development Framework
  • Supporting talent management initiatives by designing visible career development pathways to build a pipeline of future talent for the organisation as well as providing coaching, mentoring, and other developmental opportunities to nurture talent within the organization
  • Managing Learning Needs Analysis across the organisation to identify skill gaps and learning priorities within the workforce, and utilizing feedback mechanisms, performance data, and employee surveys to inform learning and development priorities
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards by developing and delivering training programs to meet safety, environmental regulations, and other relevant policies

Ideally, you’ll bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
  • Proven experience in the implementation of learning management frameworks, evaluation of learning and development requirements
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training delivery techniques.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
