We are seeking an appropriately experienced HR Officer to join the Human Resource Services team at Blacktown City Council where you will deliver employee services in line with Council’s strategic direction, in a pro-active and efficient manner that enables council to attract, develop and retain appropriate and suitably qualified employees through provision of effective support and advisory services in accordance with current Human Resources, recruitment and employee relations practices.

You must have relevant tertiary qualifications in an appropriate filed – Diploma or above; experience in human resources, recruitment and employee relations; demonstrated well developed communication and interpersonal skills, sound analytical and problem solving skills; and a current class ‘C’ driver’s licence.

Salary Range: $63,112.40 - $70,683.60 (Grade 10) per annum, a 35 hour working week with the opportunity to participate in flex time, leave entitlements, 9.5% employer superannuation contribution and much more.
