Do you have experience in the development and implementation of cultural change, leadership and development initiatives? 

The Culture and Capability Coordinator assists in the facilitation of effective development and implementation of strategies and systems which build workforce capability in support of the achievement of Councils "Plan on a Page" which sets the new strategic direction through the Purpose, Vision, Mission and Values. This role will be responsible for leading and developing the newly formed area of Culture and Capability driving cultural change, leadership and employee development initiatives. 

Key areas of accountability for this position include:

  • Facilitate a strategic approach to Human Resources and workforce planning to drive organisational culture, build roles/performance management capabilities and ensure service delivery in the future
  • Oversight and delivery of complex projects and programs to support a culture of continuous improvement
  • Development of new culture and capability function, including Learning and Development, Leadership and Management development, Talent Management, Succession planning and reward and recognition.
