An excellent opportunity is on offer for a Human Resources Senior Advisor to join the Sydney team on a 6 month maternity leave contract.

To be the successful candidate to undertake this opportunity, it is important that you possess the following attributes, experience, qualities and characteristics:

In this role as HR Manager you will: 

  • Build relationships at all levels of the business to support the management and development of employees
  • Acquisition, termination, and ongoing assessment and development of professional and support staff in all areas of the practice
  • Provide advice to managers and employees on people matters (including performance management, grievances, diversity investigations, day-to-day  matters etc)
  • General supervision of support staff
  • Management of  the HR budget
  • Develop and review HR policy, procedures and systems to drive best practice
  • Management of OH&S and Workers Compensation issues

To be considered for this role:

  • You will be an experienced Senior HR Advisor with at least 5 years strong generalist experience
  • Have in depth knowledge and experience of operational Human Resources principles and practices, including basic knowledge of awards, agreements and industrial legislation and health and safety/workers compensation principles are essential.
  • Have tertiary qualification in HR or related field.
