About the role:
An exciting and rare opportunity exists for an experienced and highly motivated professional to contribute to Unitywater’s ongoing success. This is a permanent full-time position as the People Insights Specialist where you will utilise your curious mind to successfully partner with the business and closely with senior management who are committed to improving decision making and looking for opportunities to improve. The organisation has started the digital transformation of data and reporting and this role has an opportunity to influence and make a significant difference in the development roadmap.
  
Working in the Capability and Shared Services team and more broadly with the business, you will be responsible for managing the strategic workforce planning process and annual cycle, and providing meaningful, relevant and accurate people related data to support informed strategic and operational decision making. The role will provide commercially-focused guidance and advice on workforce planning needs. There are substantive projects on the horizon, looking at areas of organisational performance analysis, understanding productivity and measuring capability. You will be connecting across a wide range of business processes with a clear agenda of improvement, tosupport business objectives and ensure they are linked to Unitywater’s future strategic direction.
  
The role will have flexibility and depended on the preferred candidate this position has the capability of working fully remotely.
  
About you:
To contribute to Unitywater’s values of Reliability, Safety, Honesty & Integrity, Efficiency, One Team, Innovation, you will demonstrate the following skills and qualities for the role:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or Human Resources or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Previous experience in Human Resources ideally with a focus upon people analytics and/or workforce planning.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management, building trusting relationships and deep business partnering skills are essential.
  • Experience with Power BI and SQL highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in workforce planning and an understanding of workforce planning methodologies, strategy development and implementation.
  • Advanced numeracy, data analysis and Microsoft Excel skills, quantity and qualitative data analysis and experience with surveys.
