Job Summary:

As a People & Culture Generalist at Workers Lifestyle Group, you will play a pivotal role in driving HR initiatives focused on employee engagement, development, and compliance. This position requires a passion for working with people and a commitment to delivering strategic HR solutions that align with our organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top talent.
  • Administer employee rewards and recognition programs and serve as a resource for employee-related inquiries.
  • Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and promote a positive work environment.
  • Manage time and attendance management using Humanforce or similar systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage leave processes and policies, including Annual leave, Parental Leave and other statutory leave entitlements.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives through training and development programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address employee relations issues and foster a supportive workplace culture.
  • Maintain HR records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support Workplace Health and Safety via taking a leading role in the management of the WHS system and processes. 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, demonstrating a strong understanding of HR practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
